Where can I buy Herbal Essences products?

My old Herbal Essences shampoo was clear. Now I see some opaque shampoos in your lineup. Why the change?

We've updated the formulas of some of our shampoos by altering the conditioning content. Just like our clear shampoos, these new opaque formulas produce luscious lather and have delightful fragrances. Trust us—you'll love 'em!

Why is the Herbal Essences packaging different?

When we reformulated our products, we gave them luscious new bottles to match! With many collections to choose from, it's easy to find your color-coded packages.

That's a lot of choices! How do I pick a collection?

Each collection is designed to address particular hair needs, and each collection smells great! So you can select by hair benefits or by scent. A hint: the collections achieve varying levels of conditioning, and you can pick a formula that's as light or as intense as you'd like. The scale below shows how the collections relate to each other.

I've had bad experiences with sticky hairspray, but I still feel like I need some "hold." Help!

You don't have to have a Mohawk to benefit from hold. Even natural, flowing styles look better when they're under control.

Can I get coupons online?

At this time we don't have coupons to send or print online. But you can find out about newspaper coupons by signing up for Herbal Essences email. These emails will also announce new products and give you the latest from the Land of Luscious. Go >.

Can I get a free sample?

Glad to hear you'd like to try our products! Herbal Essences samples may or may not be available at a given time. You can always check the P&G Everyday Solutions website to see whether Herbal or any of our other brands have special offers, including samples. Check it out here.

Are your products tested on animals?

P&G, the parent company for Herbal Essences, has ended research involving animals on all our finished consumer products except when required by law. We use non-animal alternatives first. We'll only use animal testing when there are no other reasonable options.

We'd like to be able eliminate animal research on ingredients in consumer products altogether, and we're making progress. We've invested over $190 million in alternatives, making us an industry leader. We're also working with the FDA and respected animal welfare groups, such as the Humane Society of the United States, to work on reforming regulations and validating alternative methods. What does your company do to protect the environment?

P&G is committed to ensuring that our products, packaging and operations are safe for consumers and the environment. For products that go out with the trash, our approach is to reduce, reuse, recycle, compost or incinerate (with energy recovered) waste prior to landfilling, where it's environmentally and economically appropriate.
